Q&A

Hi peeps, what is the shelf life after opening said spice and rubs Cheers
Great question Ken. Truly depends on how it is stored and the type of rub also. As they are all natural spices and herbs. They actually have a total life of 5 years according to food science. We don't use the anti caking agents or chemicals that usually help with this. We would rather fill the bottle with real ingredients.. If they are kept in a nice cool place and moisture stays out of it (this can depend on where you live too) See a couple of tips in our blog from the link below. https://www.lanesbbq.com.au/blogs/recipe/why-do-my-rubs-clump If these items can be achieved - it will last years Kept in a cool place Moisture is kept out If not, they will last a few months. But even then they aren't bad at all, they may just clump a little which spices naturally do mainly because of moisture. You can easily unclump them with a fork and a good shake usually. Hope that helps! -Brett
