Sweet-Lic Chili Dogs
1 Brown Onion - Diced
250g Beef Mince
1 Tbsp Lane's Sweet-Lic COMBO Rub
1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
1 Can of Tomato
6 Hotdogs (Smoked Franks, Cheese Kransky or Vienna sausage are best)
6 Brioche Long rolls
Handful of grated cheddar cheese
Add the franks over a low indirect heat. Bringing them up to temp a little slower will prevent the cases from splitting (like ours did – whoops!)
Now lets do a simple chilli. Fry the onions till translucent then add the beef cook untill browned.
Add the seasoning, worcestershire, tomato paste and tomatoes and cook while occasionally stirring for 10mins
After 15/20 mins remove the franks and set aside while you toast the buns.
add the franks to the toasted buns, and spoon over a good amount of the Chili and sprinkle on some cheese.
