Nashville Hot Tenders
Ingredients
- 600g Chicken TenderloinÂ
- 350g Plain FlourÂ
- 120g Corn Flour / StarchÂ
- 3 tsp SaltÂ
- Lane’s Nashville Hot Â
- 1 eggÂ
- 500ml ButtermilkÂ
- Lane’s Nashville HotÂ
- Lane’s RanchÂ
- OilÂ
- MayonaiseÂ
- Lane’s RanchÂ
Directions
Mix Salt in with the corn flour and plain flour and set aside
In a separate bowl, mix all wet dredge ingredients together.
Dunk chicken in dry batter, then into wet and then back into dry to create a layer of coating.
Fry at 180c / 350f for 6-10 minutes or until chicken reaches 165f/74c internal.
Place chicken on a wire rack straight from the fryer to rest.
Take a cup of your hot oil and place it in a bowl and add a generous amount of Nashville hot.
Paint chicken tenders with hot oil.
While chicken is resting, in a bowl add some mayo and Ranch seasoning and mix until completely combined
Serve with chips and coleslaw and ranch dip
