Ingredients

  • Kinda Spicy

  • 500g–700g beef mince

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp plain flour

  • 1 ½ cups milk

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup mozzarella

  • 1 long baguette

  • Fresh parsley or spring onion (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (fan-forced 180°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine mince and kinda spicy don’t overwork the meat or they’ll go dense.
  3. Roll into golf-ball-sized meatballs (you should get 16–20).
  4. Place your meatballs into a preheated airfryer
  5. Cook for 15–18 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
  6. You want them firm but still juicy.
  7. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  8. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Simmer gently until thickened. Stir through cheddar, mozzarella to make your cheese sauce
  9. Cut your long baguette down the middle
  10. Place the cooked meatballs in the baguette
  11. Pour the cheese sauce over the top of the meatballs

  12. Grab your Kinda Spicy sauce and drizzle it over the top of everything
  13. Sprinkle with parsley or spring onion.
  14. Serve immediately. Napkins required.
