Cheese² Garlic Bread
Lane's BBQ Garlic²
2 Tbsp Butter
1.5 Tbsp all-purpose flour
300ml Fresh Milk
200g Red Leicester Cheese
1 French Stick (Baguette)
200g Butter (Room temp)
Handful Chopped parsley
Dice up the cheese into 1-2cm cubes and set aside
Melt Butter in a pan over low/medium heat
Add Flour and combine. Cook for 5/10 mins, stirring frequently
Gradually add milk, stirring in each amount as you go. you're looking for a nice thick sauce consistency add small amounts of milk if needed.
Add 1 Tbsp of Lane's BBQ Garlic² and stir in
Drop in the cheese cubes and stir until completely melted in
Drop the heat as low as it will go to keep it warm as the sauce will thicken when cold. but keep an eye on it as you don't want to scorch the bottom
Combine butter and 1 Tbsp of Garlic²
Cut 3cm slices along the bread and spread each with some garlic butter.
Cut mozzarella into 1x2cm sections and add 2/3 into each cut
Wrap in tinfoil and put into your smoker/cooker at 160 for 15mins
When you're ready to eat unwrap the bread, drizzle with the hot cheese sauce and sprinkle on some green stuff to make it healthy.
