Go looking for BBQ seasonings and options for chicken, pork, and beef are everywhere! But if you want to amp up your Sunday lamb roast, options dry up pretty quick.

Lamb is part of our culture as Aussies, European settlers favoured sheep farming for its hardiness, fast yield, and usefulness for fibre production, meat and milks and cheeses. It's part of our unique national palette and at home on any Aussie dinner table.  BBQ Mutton has been a staple in regions of Kentucky for 100's of years. But more recently, when our superior Aussie raised lamb met American BBQ techniques, magic happened. Aussie BBQers have already perfected lamb ribs, pulled lamb cuts and a number of other ways to prepare the nations favourite protein. So it was high time we honoured our Aussie heritage with a nod to our American history.

So, Here is a Lane's specialty lamb rub you can make at home. Using our specialty ingredients you can even tweak it to your tastes! Like yours a but sweeter add more honey. Need a spicier edge? Dial up the ancho chilli. Or maybe you've got a secret ingredient to make it your own!
