Apple Pie Seasoning
1 Rack Baby Beef ribs
3-4 Apples, diced
½ cup sugar
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
5 tbsp water
Slice the rack into individual ribs.
Season all sides genrously with Lane’s Apple Pie Seasoning.
Place ribs in the smoker at 125c for 2-3 hrs.
Add diced apples to a pot along with ½ cup sugar, 3 tbsp water, 2 tbsp butter, and 1 tsp cinnamon.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes until softened
Mix 5 tbsp water with 4 tsp cornstarch to form a slurry, then stir it into the pit until thickened.
Place ribs in a tray or pan and pour the apple pie braising liquid over them.
Return to the smoker at 125C for another 3 hrs, or until the rubs are full-apart tender.
Transfer ribs to a bowl, spoon over some of the braising liquid, and finish with an extra sprinkle of Lane’s Apple Pie seasoning.
