APPLE PIE FRENCH TOAST
Throw out the scales and let's not count calories for this meal! It's cold. You're hungry. And we got you! Daniel B aka Cake Bae's version of French Toast will warm your hearts and potentially bring on many underlying health conditions. But that's a sacrifice we are willing to make. ENJOY!
What you’ll need:
Spatula (plastic if using non stick fry pan)
2 Tbs Lane’s Apple Pie Seasoning
1 Tsp Cinnamon
¼ Cup Brown Sugar
6 Pieces of Brioche Toast Slices
1/8 Cup of Milk
2 Tbs Unsalted Butter
1 Tbs Olive Oil
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
Icing Sugar (optional)
Maple Syrup (optional)
Heat Fry pan on medium to high heat. Add oil and butter to pan
TIP: It is important to add oil so the butter does not burn
Mix eggs, Brown sugar, Lane’s Apple Pie, Milk and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix well until all sugar has dissolved.
Dip sliced brioche slices (each side) into egg mixture and then cook in fry pan. Cook for 45-60 seconds each side or until Golden.
Drizzle with Maple Syrup and dust with icing sugar or fresh berries.
