Hot Honey BBQ
- 3/4 cup polenta
- 1 1/2 cups flour (plain / all purpose)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup raw sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup canned creamed corn
- 1/2 cup / 125g melted butter,
- 2 eggs , lightly whisked
- 3/4 cups milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 220c/425f
- In a bowl, mix all wet ingredients together.
- Slowly add dry in ingredients and mix to incorporate.
- Place mix into a baking dish lined with a bit of butter and a bit of polenta.
- Lower the temp of the oven to 200c/400f and place corn bread in and bake for 25 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean
- Based with honey and butter (Optional)
