Ingredients

2 tbs Lane’s Apple Pie
- 6 medium granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (reserve a teaspoon for thickening Pie mixture)
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180c
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with sugar, Lane’s Apple Pie, lemon juice, and flour.
- Transfer to a greased 9x9-inch baking dish (or similar size).
- In another bowl, mix flour, oats, sugars, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cold butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
- Let it cool for at least 10 minutes.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or custard.
